OYLA has designated two types of referee trainee: Level 1 and Level 2.
Level 1 are those referees who are new or never officiated a youth game through their club or past OYLA sanctioned events.
Level 2 are those referees who have completed two years or more of officiating youth games for their club or past OYLA sanctioned events. The L2 clinics are for experienced referees who demonstrate leadership while officiating.
